Perry Short currently lives in Bartlett, Tennessee near Memphis.  An avid Civil War historian, Perry has participated in many re-enactments, several of which were filmed for movies.  His credits include being a member of the artillery for the movie North and South II, and part of the infantry for the movies Glory, Gettysburg, & Gods and Generals  His first book was published in 2007 under the title Generation of Warriors.
